Anchored In. Holding the Lines.
Hopeson Anchored Holdings LLC is a veteran-founded holding company focused on acquiring and optimizing undervalued commercial land and small businesses. Founded by Eric Thomas — a disabled U.S. Navy veteran, experienced controls engineer, and father of six boys — the company was built to create generational wealth while uplifting underserved communities.
Eric’s background includes over a decade of leadership in automation and industrial systems at companies like Amazon and Owens Corning, Dematic, as well as contract work on the Google Maps project. His unique mix of technical expertise and real-world operational strategy powers a lean, disciplined, and mission-driven approach to asset acquisition.
What sets Hopeson apart is its purpose: after Eric’s wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis ten years ago, he committed to donating 20% of all company profits to MS research. Every property acquired and every dollar earned supports that long-term vision — to fund hope, build legacy, and create lasting impact.
This Eric D. Thomas set sail under a different flag: a mission to answer one question—"How can I help?"
He spent nearly a decade as a U.S. Navy sailor before injury charted a new course. He's a proud father of six. And he's a designer of systems that outlast talk. Born on the South Side of Chicago to Hope Charity—his mother, who didn't just preach service, she lived it.
His mother's courage became his compass. That’s where his system-building started: in chaos. In learning how to move without panic, plan without comfort, and find clarity when no one hands it to you.
